IMPOSTER ARCADE 1.3 — OFFLINE HOST
==================================

This portable host contains two complete local multiplayer games:
1. Imposter Night — hidden roles, Doctor saves, night eliminations, discussion and voting.
2. Find the Imposter — related secret words, timed clues, arcade discussion and voting.

QUICK START
1. Extract the entire ZIP to a normal folder on the Windows host laptop.
2. Turn on the laptop's Mobile Hotspot (Settings > Network & internet > Mobile hotspot).
3. Double-click "Imposter Arcade Host.exe".
4. If Windows Firewall asks, allow access on Private networks.
5. The host screen opens automatically. Every player connects to the laptop hotspot and scans the QR code.
6. Press "Test sound" before starting, adjust the narrator volume, and use "Fullscreen" for a TV or shared display.

Players do not install or download anything. Their phone browsers are enough.
The laptop and phones do not need internet access.
The host laptop does not need Git, Node.js, an app store, or any development tools; everything required is included in this portable folder.
All narrator recordings and sound effects are bundled locally and continue working with internet access completely disabled.
The supplied intro plays when the host opens and once when each phone first joins a room. The supplied outro plays before the final result at every game end. Both videos include Skip and Sound controls and are stored inside this portable package.
The small "Follow developer" button stays available on host and player screens. It opens the bundled Instagram QR for @ARSHAD19__X; displaying it does not require internet.

If Windows prevents the graphical launcher from opening, double-click "Start Imposter Arcade.cmd" instead and keep its black host window open during the game.

STOPPING THE GAME
Right-click the Imposter shield icon near the Windows clock and choose "Stop Imposter Arcade".

CONNECTION HELP
- Make sure every phone is connected to the laptop's hotspot, not mobile data or another Wi-Fi network.
- Keep the host app running until the game is finished.
- If a phone refreshes, it automatically reconnects to the same private role.
- If the host browser closes, open "Imposter Arcade Host.exe" again; the running host screen reopens.
- If the host app is stopped unexpectedly, reopen it. The current room and roles are restored locally.

PRIVACY
Roles and night choices are held only by the host laptop. A phone receives only its own role and available actions.
The Doctor and Impostor identities stay hidden from every other player and from the shared host screen until game over. Players may make any claims they want during discussion.
The Doctor protects exactly one player per night. Both the Doctor and Impostor receive one private choice and a visible 15-second countdown.

VOTING
- Every voting ballot has a visible 3-minute maximum timer, but the result appears immediately when every eligible player votes.
- A living player may vote for another living player or choose Skip vote.
- A tied first ballot automatically starts a restricted revote between the tied choices.
- Only players who selected a named player on the first ballot participate in that revote; first-ballot Skip voters watch the result.
- If the restricted revote is tied, no one is eliminated.
- The supplied gunshot recording and every other sound remain bundled locally and play only from the host laptop.

FIND THE IMPOSTER
- Select Find the Imposter from the host game chooser. It supports 3–15 players; four or more is recommended.
- Every player taps Ready. For 6+ players, the host may choose one or two Imposters.
- Crew members receive the same secret word. Imposters receive a different but related word. Words and roles appear only on the owner’s phone.
- Categories include Food, Animals, Places, Movies and Random Mix. A word pair never repeats in consecutive rounds.
- Living contestants take randomized timed turns giving one word or a short clue. The active player may tap Done to advance early.
- Discussion ends at its timer, when the host ends it, or when a majority of living players tap that they are ready to vote.
- The first ballot permits Skip. All eligible ballots resolve immediately when complete or at the configured deadline.
- A tied first ballot starts a restricted revote between tied players. First-ballot Skip voters sit out and Skip is unavailable in the tiebreaker.
- A second tie uses the host’s chosen fallback: random tied-player elimination or no elimination.
- In single-round mode, catching Crew or eliminating nobody gives the Imposter the win. Multi-round mode continues until an Imposter is caught or the final configured round ends.
- The final arcade screen reveals both related words, every role, vote statistics and clue-time highlights.
- The shared host laptop is a spectator display. If the host wants to play, they join from their own phone like every other contestant.
